Something you'd never guess about me: How strong my small hands are.
Bio: I chose massage therapy as my career because when I was seven years old my father would ask me to rub his neck and shoulders. I would do it without worrying about the amount of time I spent doing it because I enjoyed it. I would tell everybody when I grew up I was going to be a massage therapist. As I got older, friends from work would walk up to me on the job and ask me to work on their necks, shoulders, and backs. I knew I had a gift because 1) I enjoyed doing it; 2) I would receive a big "Thank You" from my friends afterwards.
Since I truly enjoy what I do for a living it shows through my touch. I consider it a compliment when my client falls asleep on my table and an ultimate compliment when they snore.
